讲座：发掘珍贵手记，重绘历史篇章

　 　近日，来自芝加哥大学的Dr. Edward L. Shaughnessy，将为北大同学们带来精彩的演讲。演讲的主题为：Unearthing the Classic of Documents: The Role of the Tsinghua University Bamboo-Strip Manuscripts in Rewriting the History of Early China，敬请关注。

Edward Louis Shaughnessy is an American Sinologist, scholar, and educator known for his studies of early Chinese history, particularly the Zhou and the Classic of Changes. Shaughnessy received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, after which he went to Stanford University for graduate study in Chinese, earning his Ph.D. with the dissertation "The Composition of the Zhouyi." In 1984, Shaughnessy joined the faculty of the University of Chicago, where he is currently the Lorraine J. and Herrlee G. Creel Distinguished Service Professor of Early Chinese Studies.
